About our client

We are working with a top-tier private markets investor looking to add an Associate or Senior Associate to their credit secondaries team. You will be part of a growing platform within an established multi strategy manager. This high-performing team is looking for a technical, detail orientated individual who wants to develop their expertise in this niche. What the job involves

  • Evaluating new investment opportunities by conducting quantitative and qualitative due diligence on credit fund portfolios
  • Analysing and overlaying macro level trends to diligence diversified credit portfolios
  • Operating and maintaining complex financial models to evaluate returns
  • Prepare investment thesis for investment committee meetings
  • Support deal teams in transaction management, overseeing the entire process from initial negotiations through to closings
  • Monitoring of current fund performance
  • Developing a network in the secondaries industry through regular industry conferences
Who we are looking for

  • Prior experience in investment banking (preferably leveraged finance or M&A), restructuring advisory, credit valuation, principal investing, credit or secondaries
  • Strong analytical skills and financial analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels within the firm
  • Exceptional attention to detail, able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong academic background, preference for a degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field
