A leading law firm is seeking an associate or senior associate to join its Funds & Asset Management team in the Middle East.
Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi
The team advises asset managers and investment funds on fund establishment, regulatory compliance, and structuring, including Sharia funds. The team also supports institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, on investments in traditional funds and bespoke co-investment structures. Recognised as a top-tier practice, the group operates internationally across key fund domiciles such as DIFC, ADGM, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Cayman Islands, Luxembourg, Jersey, and Delaware.
Role Overview
The role focuses on fund structuring, formation, and investment.
Responsibilities include:
Structuring and drafting fund documentation, including PPMs, limited partnership agreements, and subscription agreements.
Advising investors on fund investments, co-investments, and separate managed accounts.
Working on joint ventures, co-sponsored structures, fund-of-ones, and hybrid investment structures.
Key Requirements
3-7 years PQE.
Strong knowledge of limited partnership agreements and market trends.
Experience with private funds, investor negotiations, and fund establishment in ADGM, DIFC, Delaware, Luxembourg, Guernsey, or Cayman Islands.
Ability to navigate new structures and jurisdictions.
