Title: Associate Solicitor - Social Housing 
Location: Negotiable (Liverpool, Manchester, or Cheshire)  
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a recognised team and provide legal advice to Registered Providers of Social Housing. Career progression opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist legal advice on Social Housing and Land law, managing casework in line with company policies and quality standards. Represent landlords in residential possession claims, ASB, and breach of tenancy injunctions, while advising on tenancy agreements, leasehold, policy, governance, and procedures. Support clients with legislative changes, regulatory enquiries, and boundary/land disputes, offering housing and asset management legal advice. Perform advocacy in the County Court, achieve billing and time recording targets, and comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Solicitors Code of Conduct. Supervise and mentor junior team members, contribute to business development strategies, promote the firm's services and values, maintain high standards of client care and confidentiality, and adapt to new legal procedures and changes.

Requirements

- Extensive experience in Social Housing Litigation and property/Social Housing Law.
- Ability to adapt to frequently changing housing law.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in managing and developing people.
- Proven ability to provide clear, practical legal advice.
- Strong advocacy skills with County Court experience.
- Competent computer skills.
- Ability to run a profitable case load.
- Alignment with the firm’s values and social purpose.
- Commercial insight and a proactive attitude.
- Solid knowledge of CPR.
