Associate Trainer

What’s the role?

Our client, a leading provider of apprenticeships, professional training courses and learning solutions is currently looking for Associate Trainers to join their training bank on a flexible basis.

You will be providing inspirational, immersive and impactful training and development sessions to Apprenticeship learners in line with our clients learning journey blueprint.

We are currently interested in speaking to Trainers experienced in delivering the following courses:

• Associate Project Manager- Level 4
• Accountancy - Level 3 and 4
• HR - Level 3 and 5
• L&D - Level 3 and 5
• Regulatory Compliance Officer - Level 4
• Coaching Professional - Level 5
• Data Analyst - Level 5
• Leadership and Management - Level 3 and 5

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a subject matter expert, supporting and contributing to the delivery of high impact, immersive and innovative training sessions
• Delivery of online workshops on specific topics or skills
• Developing and updating delivery materials & curriculum in support with product and curriculum teams
• Monitoring participants learning and providing feedback
• Collaborating with other specialist trainers and stakeholders to identify development needs
• Maintaining records of delivery activities and outcomes
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practice in delivery & development
• Adopting effective learning management methodologies to provide inspirational and innovative learning interactions and experiences with learners
• Following the course model and associated materials to deliver training sessions to a high standard (Ofsted grade 2), utilising technology and differentiating learning according to ability
• Liaising with the Coach to provide feedback on the learner, ensure learnings are being applied in the workplace and competence gaps are being identified and progressed through practical coaching support in the workplace
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated sessions, embedding Maths and English, that ensure active participation and learning leading to positive learning outcomes
• Demonstrating a detailed understanding of technological advancements and learning methods to influence the shape of provision in line with future customer needs
• Working collaboratively towards the achievement of the department’s targets, purpose, mission, vison and values

Essential skills & experience required:

• Professional qualification in related sector (at or above the level of sector delivery)
• At least two years proven experience working as a Trainer or Educator
• Proven industry experience correlating to the relevant courses i.e., Project Management, Accountancy, L&D
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and training software
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for online delivery
• Adaptability and creativity in developing delivery solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
