PQ Assistant Management Accountant // Salford // @£38k plus significant bonus, plus study support
  
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking to join a business which is truly skyrocketing in terms of its success.
  
This multi-facetted, award-winning business is looking for an ambitious, driven individual to join the finance team.
  
Initially joining as an Assistant Accountant due to internal promotion, there is the opportunity to very quickly step up into the role of Management Accountant once you have established yourself in the role -this could be in as little as 6 months time if you are quick to show your capabilities!
  
This business will invest in you and reward you continuously. You will determine your own success in this role and will be supported and encouraged to do so. Exam passes will be recognised with incremental rises and demonstrating hard work and progression will result in a very healthy annual bonus.
  
The role is office-based at a fabulous site which provides a vibrant working environment. There's even a swimming pool on site. The ideal person will enjoy being amongst the hustle and bustle of a thriving business and will embrace building relationships with colleagues.
  
Duties will include tasks such as :
  
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Ensuring accurate financial statements by reconciling accounts and verifying balances.
  • Variance analysis and reporting against budgets, forecasts and prior periods
  • Assist with the audit process, and ensure it runs smoothly and to time
  
The ideal person:
  
  • Over a year's exposure to producing Management Accounts for review.
  • Practice or Industry background welcomed
  • Ambitious, with a clear vison of what you want to achieve
  • Strong work ethic, thrives on progression and success
  • Confident to step up and take ownership of the MA process in the near future
  • Great collaborator and communicator
  • Detail orientated but also able to step back and see the bigger picture
  • Excellent analytical and systems skills
  • An eye for innovation and process improvement
