Job Title: Assurance Manager 
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £51,526 (£56,949 is achieved after 12 months successful performance in the role) Pro Rata
Working Hours: Full Time 35 hours
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid, Liverpool

The difference you will make as an Assurance Manager

You will lead, manage and deliver a quality, effective, Business Assurance Services Team within the Building Safety Department.  Assess risk and manage a prioritised programme of reviews, providing assurance to senior leaders and the governance community that our policies, strategies, improvement plans, and operational services meet legislative and regulatory requirements, and will deliver the required outcomes in line with our Corporate Objectives. lead the approach to setting and monitoring national standards for building safety and compliance, including the quality framework, leading the implementation and monitor adherence to standards and associated business processes.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
  • Experience undertaking a business assurance role within housing or health and safety sector
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of quality assessment frameworks and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Social housing, building safety or health and safety regulatory requirements.
  • Experience undertaking analysis of data, service delivery and to undertaking reviews, including ‘deep dives and analysis, identifying issues or areas for improvement and working with the business to implement change, new ways of working.
  • Proven ‘self-starter,’ motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to write clear and concise reports for a variety of audiences.
