Audio Visual AV Installation Engineer

My well established, specialist Client is urgently recruiting a skilled and experienced Audio Visual (AV) Installation Engineer to join ther team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working from drawings, schematics, and cable layouts to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for problem-solving, devising installation solutions that adhere to the company's standards and style, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role also includes leading equipment setup, basic commissioning duties, and installing AV equipment to the highest standard while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and cable layouts to execute AV installations.

Carry out project delivery, ensuring installations meet the company's quality standards and style.

Problem solve and devise effective installation solutions.

Lead on equipment setup and perform basic commissioning duties.

Install AV equipment, including projectors, sound systems, video conferencing systems, and control systems, to a high standard.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing client needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the installation.

Adhere to all relevant regulations and safety standards during installations.

Maintain accurate records of installations and service reports.

Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure successful project completion.

Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an AV Installation Engineer or similar role.

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and cable layouts.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to devise effective installation solutions.

Experience with setting up and commissioning AV equipment.

High standard of installation workmanship and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards in AV installations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, as needed, to support project delivery.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
