Audit & Accounts Manager
TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Canterbury, in their search for an Audit & Accounts Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity, where you will get exposure to a varied portfolio of clients and audit work, whilst maintaining an excellent work-life balance. Clients typically range from £10m - £200m+ million in turnover. Our client offers a very flexible working environment including flexible working hours and hybrid working.
As an Audit & Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing the planning, fieldwork, and completion of statutory audit assignments for clients including substantial group structured entities and those from specialist sectors. Completing assignments for clients under your control for partner/director review will be an important aspect of the role, highlighting any issues for discussion with the client ahead of key meetings and presentations. In addition to the audit work, you will also oversee the accounts preparation.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
- Demonstrable practice experience within a senior or Manager level audit and accounts position.
- Technically proficient in accounts and audit with excellent attention to detail.
- A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
- Able to manage own workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and advisory skills.
