Audit & Accounts Senior - 50 Audit/50 Accounts - Top 50 Firm
Atomic is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded, mid-tier accounting firm, based in Central London, looking to recruit and Audit & Accounts Senior to join the team. The firm enjoy collaborating and are passionate about providing a high class, bespoke service to support their client base. The firm are also supported by one of the largest international networks of professionals in the accounting, tax, legal and audit sectors.
Responsibilities:
Their Audit & Accounts Seniors are trusted and valued members of their supervisory team, working with the managers and partners to develop both themselves and more junior members of staff, whilst providing an outstanding service to our clients. Responsibilities include:
- 50/50 split across accounting & audit
- Ownership of the full audit process.
- Manage & supervise the audit team. Main client contact for on-site fieldwork.
- Research any technical areas that arise in the audit and liaise with the relevant audit manager to resolve.
- Prepare statutory financial statements (predominantly FRS102), alongside working papers to support financial statements.
- Draft Corporation Tax returns (CT600). Compile Profit and Loss accounts, balance sheets of assets and liabilities and trial balance accounts.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent with 3 years' experience within practice OR be an experienced auditor with at least three years within practice - 100% auditors with limited/no accounts experience will be considered and trained.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
- Clear communication skills.
- Leadership experience.
- Accounts and Audit group reporting experience.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Microsoft Excel (mandatory), CCH and Xero (preferable), audit software experience
