A fantastic new opportunity has opened up for a Audit Co-Ordinator, reporting to the Client Money Audit Manager. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely and successful completion of external annual audits within a client money environment. This position is for a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC).

What You Will Do

- Assist in the coordination of Client Money and statutory audits, including updates to management and stakeholders, gathering and reviewing evidence, and agreeing on action plans.

- Maintain regular communication with internal management and external auditors to ensure audit progress remains on track and deadlines are met.

- Ensure all audit samples are completed by their due dates.

- Collect and review evidence before submitting it to internal and external auditors.

- Perform your responsibilities according to agreed processes, ensuring compliance with client and insurer money regulations as outlined by the FCA Client Asset Sourcebook (CASS).

We are seeking someone with:

- Experience in a financial environment, preferably within a regulated financial services organisation, ideally in insurance or a large corporate setting, or familiarity with CASS 5 regulations.

- Prior experience in auditing.

- Knowledge of CASS 5 (preferred but not essential).

- Proficiency in MS Excel at an intermediate level.

- Experience using general ledger accounting systems.

- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- A drive to improve processes and reduce inefficiencies, errors, or exceptions.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
