Location: High Wycombe

About the Firm: Join a top 15 firm known for supporting individuals and businesses across various sectors, providing market-leading accountancy, audit, business advisory, tax, and VAT services in the UK and internationally. Based out of the High Wycombe office, you'll benefit from a flexible hybrid approach, with a minimum of 2 days in the office and the freedom to choose your hours within the core timeframe of 10 am-4 pm. The standard workweek is 35 hours, with paid overtime or time off in lieu for any extra hours worked.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors
  • Oversee the audit process and ensure high-quality work
  • Manage work progress and budgets
  • Supervise and coach qualified staff and trainees
  • Liaise with the tax team
  • Handle accounts preparation and special assignments
  • Participate in technical training and soft skills development

Requirements:

  • CA/ACA/ACCA qualified
  • UK audit background (no sponsorship provided)
  • Excellent understanding of FRS 102; IFRS knowledge is advantageous
  • Experience with special assignments or technical projects is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, CCH Accounts Production, and CCH Audit Automation
  • Strong leadership and training skills
