My client, a highly reputable accountancy practice based in Manchester, is currently seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to join their busy and growing team.

To be considered for this role will need to be ACCA or ACA part-qualified who has trained within a practice with 1 ½ years or more of experience.

On a daily basis you will be reporting to an Audit Senior or Manager and will be responsible for the planning and execution of the audits for a wide range of clients including charities, entertainment businesses and manufacturers.

You will need to have experience working in a professional and efficient manor to ensure that client expectations are managed accordingly. My client offers a good work life balance, a friendly environment with long serving staff members, a supporting and helpful culture, as well as progression over time within the company.

On a day to day basis, this role will include the following:

Undertaking a full range of audit tasks including planning, testing, reviewing and reporting; assisting with the effective progression and completion of audit tasks for final Manager and Partner review; assisting in the drafting of audit completion reports as well as preparing and reviewing statutory financial reports; various ad-hoc duties
