We are looking to hire an experienced Audit Senior with a strong background in practice accountancy, with proven expertise in audit procedures and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans tailored to each client's needs.
  • Perform detailed testing of financial data, internal controls, and compliance procedures.
  • Analyse audit findings, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional service at every stage of the engagement.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification, or actively pursuing certification (part-qualified).
  • Previous experience in practice accountancy, with a focus on audit engagements.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve common goals.
