Audit Senior

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Audit Senior to lead audit engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a professional looking to advance their career in audit within a dynamic accounting practice.

Day to day of the role:

  • Lead and manage financial audits from planning to completion.
  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff.
  • Review and assess clients’ financial statements and internal controls.
  • Provide recommendations for improving business processes and financial reporting.
  • Liaise with clients to discuss audit findings and issues.
  • Stay updated with accounting and auditing standards and legislation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an audit role within a practice environment.
  • Strong understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
