Job Title: Audit Senior
Location: Diss
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000

Are you an experienced auditor looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career? We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a Top 10 Accountancy team in Diss. Whether you're AAT qualified or part/full ACCA or ACA qualified, this role offers competitive salary and excellent benefits as part of a progressive, forward-thinking firm.

As an Audit Senior, you’ll play a pivotal role in all aspects of audit work for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role requires previous experience in auditing SMEs, solid commercial awareness, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. You will have the opportunity to work across various industries, supported by a dedicated audit team, and be responsible for ensuring that International Auditing Standards (IAS) are adhered to on all assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site audit assignments, ensuring compliance with IAS and company procedures.
  • Assist and support the audit team, contributing to audit planning and execution.
  • Produce audit summaries and discussion points for review by managers or partners.
  • Ensure statutory disclosures are included in line with Companies House and FRS102 requirements.
  • Manage deadlines, client expectations, and address client queries effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of communication and keep disruptions to a minimum when visiting client premises.
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required.
Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of IRIS Accountancy Suite, MyWorkpapers, Inflo, Xero, and Sage is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work within agreed budgets, manage timelines, and deliver quality audit work.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
Personal Attributes:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high technical proficiency.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and commercial awareness.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and regional offices regularly.

Qualifications:
