Jenson Fisher are delighted to have been retained by a leading firm of Chartered Accountants based in Dundee to recruit an Audit Senior on a permanent, full time basis.
You will be joining one of the most recognisable practices in Eastern Scotland, with a storied history providing services including accounting, audit, tax, payroll and more to clients ranging from owner managed businesses and professional service firms to those in manufacturing, construction, technology and more.
Moving either directly from a practice or seeking a return to the profession, it is essential that you possess your full accounting qualifications (ACCA/CA or equivalent) and are confident leading and conducting full audits from planning to completion stages. Your responsibilities will include:
In return, as the Audit Senior you will be offered a competitive salary ranging between £40,000 to £50,000, dependent on your experience, with hybrid working on offer alongside a general flexible, mature approach to your working patter. Additionally, you will be offered further training opportunities to support your continuous professional development alongside eligibility for bonus, a generous annual leave entitlement plus a host of additional perks and benefits

- Attending on-site audits representing the firm in the most professional light at all times.
- Allocating work to the junior audit team and guiding them throughout.
- Liaising with the Audit Partner on the planning and progress of the audits whilst ensuring adherence and compliance throughout.
- Identifying high risk areas and any potential issues where solutions provided by the firm can be offererd.
- Completing all audit review points in full.
