Audit Trainee - Mid-Size Firm of the Year Winner!

Our client, the recent winners of the Mid-Size Accountancy Practice of the Year Award, are looking for a talented Audit Trainee to join their growing team in Milton Keynes.

This is the ideal opportunity for a recent Accounting & Finance Graduate who has ideally gained some experience in an audit and / or accounting role already, to join a modern, supportive and flexible firm where you can continue to develop your career and become a qualified ACA or ACCAaccountant. Good Accounting & Finance Grads with no experience will also be considered!

The role

You will be assigned to specific audits, and ensure that they're performed effectively and efficiently adhering to the current agreed procedures and software tools. Other tasks will include:

• Managing daily task list
• Ensuring information is processed in a timely manner using specialist on-line tools
• Ensuring all clients receive a consistent high level of service
• Ensuring audit work is produced to a consistent high standard for review by your manager
• Maintaining compliant records
• Reconciling and recording information
• Ensuring systems are updated
• Dealing with client phone calls and correspondence adhering to company guidelines
• Supporting the integration of new clients
• Utilising the software tools available to provide an outstanding service to clients
• Ensuring your personal software certificates are achieved within agreed timescales and are kept up to date

Ideal candidate

• A&F Grad or someone already studying ACA or ACCA
• Audit or Accounts Practice experience ideal but not essential
• Good oral and written communication skills?
• Ability to manage time efficiently??
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Hold a valid Driving Licence
