The Authorisations Team performs a vital function to support the overall corporate objective to grow our business and process new applications for Advisers and Firms looking to join Quilter. This is your opportunity to make a significant and immediate impact.

As a Manager, I believe in having a good and honest relationship with every member of my team and I'm committed to being supportive, emphatic, and fair. Commitment to ensuring the team succeeds with all tasks and duties is essential, but you will have full support from colleagues and management.

Our Authorisations Case Workers form a key part in the overall onboarding experience of new Advisers and Firms, so it is vital that new applicants receive a positive, professional service. Caseworkers complete the vetting and due diligence of new applications, using all relevant information to assess if the application should proceed to appointment with Quilter or not.

To ensure caseworkers are able to complete the vetting of applications as efficiently as possible, you will support in the completion of administrative tasks across the Authorisations team. This includes but is not limited to:
  • Running background searches/checks on new applicants e.g DBS and credit checks
  • Requesting references and sending chasers
  • Setting up new applications in the system
  • Mailbox management
  • Processing simple less complex applications
  • General administrative tasks
  • Liaise professionally with stakeholders & applicants to provide updates
Authorisations Caseworkers make decisions based on Business Standards, which set out Quilter appetite and associated procedures. All information gathered within this administrative role, well assist caseworkers in making an informed assessment for the application.

About You

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience working within a Financial Services and Regulatory background, however, this is not essential.

You will have the ability to co-ordinate your day-to-day workload and tasks and are able to work under pressure remaining focused and calm.

You will also be a team player who looks to support others and take a positive and professional approach.

Having a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word would be beneficial. An understanding of the Worksmart technology system would also be beneficial but is not essential.
