Autism Classroom Support Assistant - Wokingham

A dedicated and creative school in Wokingham are looking for an outgoing and confident Autism Classroom Support Assistant to provide support to their students with various special educational needs, including students with Autism. This fantastic school aim to nurture a motivating environment that encourages students to be enthusiastic about learning. As an Autism Classroom Support Assistant, you will be joining an inclusive community to support children with Autism.

The role is a full-time position beginning in the new academic year, working alongside various therapists and class teachers to help manage the classroom environment, create engaging activities and capitalise on the extensive equipment at the school. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in either a professional or family/friends environment and have the empathy, patience and dedication to support these students.

  • Monday to Friday, Full-time
  • £80 - £95 per day
  • Based in Wokingham
  • 1-1 and classroom support
  • High quality CIPD training provided
