Auto Electricians and Electrical Fitters

DK Recruitment are working with our clients who have an excellent opportunity for Auto Electricians and Electrical Fitters based at Devonport. This is a new and exciting project focused on building military vehicles for the MOD. The contract is initially set for 2 years although there is a possibility of extension of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support vehicle builds for the Supacat project.
• Read and interpret electrical and engineering drawings.
• Use general workshop specific to auto electrics and/or electrical fitting.

Experience Required:

• Experience in vehicle build production is ideal.
• Experience in other types of electrical work (Domestic Electricians, Marine Electricians) will also be considered.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold qualifications in at least one of the following:

• Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship in an electrical discipline.
• Armed Forces PO/CPO/NCO with electrical specialisation.
• Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 17:15 hrs.
• Overtime and shift work available.

Ability to obtain and hold SC Security clearance is a requirement of this role.
