Personnel Selection are pleased to be working with this fantastic local business, who are currently looking to recruit a full time AutoCAD Designer to work within their Marketing department. 

The hours are 9am to 5:30pm, though some flexibility on the start/finish times. This role will be office based and there is free parking onsite. 

This is a great chance to join a friendly and dynamic business. This will suit someone who prefers to work for smaller teams and have a real comraderie with all colleagues. 

Working within a dynamic design team, the individual will be responsible for working on live projects with customers to design components, schemes and special items for orders. This includes drawing up general arrangements on AutoCAD and producing technical drawings for manufacture, as well as project coordination and liaising with other departments.

The key requirements are:

• High competence and experience in AutoCAD – both 2D and 3D – this is essential.
• Understanding of technical drawings, general arrangement, first angle projection and competency with manufacturing drawings.
• Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings.
• Ability to communicate by phone and email with customers, suppliers and external sales staff.
• Previous experience within the furniture industry is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with Adobe CC is preferred but not essential
