Automation Engineer

This is a rotating shift role working 12 hour shifts days & nights. 

As an Automation Engineer, you will support the development of site engineering automation standards whilst ensuring compliance with statutory and Engineering standards.

Within the role of Automation Engineer, you can expect to:

• Provide day-to-day automation and manufacturing support to the site
• Focus on streamlining, standardisation and improvement of the functions of these systems in the automation of manufacturing processes
• Support the development and delivery of standard training packages in automation and control systems
• Create and maintain operational as-built documentation for plant control system infrastructure.
• Programme PLC's & HMI's. 
• Support Shift Engineers on general engineering duties. 

To apply for this Automation Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Apprentice trained Engineer with experience working within fast paced manufacturing. 
• Experience in the development of Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, B&R PLC's.
• A background working with HMI, BMS, Wonderware InTouch, InBatch, InSQL, ASI, Profibus, ControlNet, DeviceNet, EtherNet
• Keen to develop a Automation career within engineering.
