An opportunity has arisen for an experienced AV Installer to join a specialist in high-quality, permanent audio, lighting, and visual installations. This role would particularly suit a qualified electrician who might have an interest in audio visual installations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Installing professional audio, lighting, and video systems, including projectors, LED walls, cameras, and stage lighting.
  • Running and terminating cabling to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Working across various environments, from heritage buildings to modern construction projects.
  • Coordinating with the operations team and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and stock levels of consumables and materials.
  • Engaging in professional development and mentoring junior installers.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in AVL installation or a strong background in a related field (e.g., electrical, networking).
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required (TOIL and overtime provided).
  • A full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential, but Beneficial):

  • Experience in rack-building and system integration.
  • Ability to interpret and update technical plans and project documentation.
  • Certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, ECS/CSCS (training can be provided).
