Our client, a major player in the European aviation sector, is seeking an experienced professional to join their strategic planning team in Luton. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to drive growth and optimise operations for a rapidly expanding airline.

Location: Luton, UK
Salary: £60 -70k pa + Excellent Benefits

Aviation Network and Planning Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage route network recommendations and capacity optimisation of the airline
  • Assess and recommend new routes and bases
  • Develop financial forecasts for potential network expansions
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape
  • Optimise flight schedules for profitability and strategic positioning
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure operational feasibility
  • Manage airport slot allocations and regulatory affairs


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (Network, Scheduling, strategy) role ideally within travel or aviation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; additional technical skills (e.g., PowerBI, SQL) are a plus
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Passion for optimisation and data-driven decision making
