Reporting to the Security Vetting Manager, the main responsibility of the Aviation Vetting Consultant will be to ensure that personnel we supply within our airside operations are security cleared in line with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) guidelines.

This is a fixed term contract for up to 6 months and will be office based working from our Colnbrook office (SL3 0AA).

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Aviation Vetting Consultant:

• Conduct vetting checks of personnel.
• Process Criminal Records Checks (CRC).
• Process General Security Awareness Training (GSAT).
• Uploading vetting data onto Airport Gateway (training provided).
• Contacting referees to expedite the vetting process.
• Updating CRM with accurate data and progress of vetting.
• Analysing vetting to meet compliance standards as set by the Airport ID centre.
• Conducting security interviews.
• Ensure adherence to GDPR regulations.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• It is essential that you have experience in conducting security vetting or pre-employment and background screening as part of your duties from within an airport or aviation related environment.
• Managing sensitive data ensuring strict compliance and auditing.
• Strong IT skills.
• Any experience of utilising vetting software used within the industry.

The Benefits + Package Offered to the Security Vetting Supervisor:

• £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
