We are seeking a Backend Developer for our client, a Cyber focussed start up, on a fully remote basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in Cyber Security. Alongside a starting salary of up to £75k, they have some excellent benefits including unlimited annual leave and equity in the business. For this role you MUST be resident and eligible to work in the UK, unsupported by a visa.

Role Profile:

• Managing account lifecycle, access control, notifications, logging, multi-tenancy, and other SaaS features for enterprise-level B2B clients.
• Collaborating closely with their product design team to develop workflows that enhance user experience and meet business requirements.
• Addressing technology and data challenges, including handling large data volumes, ensuring secure and efficient access control, providing reliable logging mechanisms, supporting multi-tenancy, and ensuring proper access segregation across various business units.
• Technologies: Backend (Node.js, TypeScript), Database (MySQL), ECS, Kubernetes, Airflow, Kafka, Serverless, AWS.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in:
  • Developing SaaS applications for diverse enterprise clients.
  • Troubleshooting bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions.
  • Understanding user onboarding, account lifecycle processes, and access control mechanisms, including authentication, granular authorization, and Single Sign-On.
  • Working with notification systems, logging frameworks, multi-tenancy, and asset categorization.
  • Workflow orchestration, async tasks, and event-driven architecture.
  • Handling data in both relational and non-relational database management systems.
  • Writing clean, testable code with familiarity in various testing strategies.
