Baker - Belfast

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Bakers with good commercial experience. Come and join our team at our client Hovis, within Belfast BT12 area. Hovis make some of the most popular baked items in the country and you could be part of this exciting process.

Key Info/Benefits:

• Position: Baker
• Location: Belfast, BT12
• Pay rate: £13.50 per hour nights, £12.50 day shifts
• Days of Work: Hours between 18.00 to 06.00 & 06.00 to 18.00. You'll need to be available for both Nights & Days.
• We will support you to gain your Level 2 food & hygiene.?
• Full paid training?

You'll need to?be someone who is:?

• Able to?communicate in a clear and concise manner
• Are happy working in a hot, loud environment
• Happy to work 12-hour shifts and be available for nights

Your responsibilities:

• Monitoring the standard of ingredients.
• Using mixers to blend, following procedures for dough rising and resting, kneading, and shaping the dough.
• Baking items within our industrial ovens or grills.

Hovis believe in supporting one another with day to day tasks and although experience is necessary Hovis will provide further training.

Application Requirements:

• Experience as a baker/bread maker
• Proof of Right to work - Passport, Share code or Birth Certificate?
• Proof of National Insurance - NI Card, payslip or P45/P60
• Candidates are required to undertake A Food Hygiene test at home prior to induction
