Band 5 Locum Physiotherapist - Community Urgent Care

Location: London

Contract Type: Locum, Initial 3 Months Contract

Start Date: 01st August 2024

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Band 5 Locum Physiotherapist to join their dynamic team in Community Urgent Care. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care within a supportive and collaborative environment. They work with a comprehensive range of services, specialist areas, inpatient and outpatient care, treatment modalities, multidisciplinary approach, education and rehabilitation, access to referrals. Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients within the community urgent care setting. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification. HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration. Minimum 6 months of recent NHS experience. Proven experience in a clinical setting, ideally within urgent or community care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in assessing and managing musculoskeletal conditions. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities. Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
