Hunter Mental Health is seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) for a locum position based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team, providing high-quality mental health care within the community.

Position Details:

  • Role: Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Rate: £25 per hour
  • Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Contract Type: Locum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive mental health care and support to a diverse caseload within the community.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and continuous care.
  • Engage with patients, families, and carers to provide education and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with valid NMC registration.
  • Proven experience in a community psychiatric nursing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
