Band 6 Midwife

Key Responsibilities:

• Antenatal Care: Conduct comprehensive antenatal assessments, provide education, and develop individualized care plans.
• Intrapartum Care: Lead labor and delivery management, ensuring safe and positive birthing experiences.
• Postnatal Care: Provide postnatal care, support breastfeeding, and monitor the health of mothers and newborns.
• Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior midwives and support staff, fostering professional development.
• Emergency Response: Manage obstetric emergencies and coordinate multidisciplinary care effectively.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

Requirements:

• Valid NMC registration as a Midwife.
• Proven experience in midwifery practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
