Location: UHL/Community, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust
Pay Rate: £20 to £22 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement
Contract Duration: 12/03/2025 to 18/05/2025

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Specialist Neonatal Occupational Therapist to work autonomously within the neonatal AHP team at UHL. This role involves providing an advanced OT service for high-risk neonates, ensuring tailored developmental assessments and interventions for premature infants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for premature infants.
  • Deliver specialist neonatal OT services for high-risk neonates.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary neonatal AHP team.
  • Provide expert guidance to parents and caregivers on infant development.
  • Implement early interventions to enhance neurodevelopmental outcomes.
Requirements:
  • BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registered.
  • Experience working as a Band 5 OT in neonatal or paediatric settings.
  • Expertise in developmental assessments for premature infants.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within an MDT.
