Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist

  • Open to speech therapists with experience in; Neuro rehabilitation; adults or paediatric, Children or adults with complex medical needs.
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Day and residential education
  • Ages 2-19 with daycare for early years aged 0-5
  • Children and young people with neurodisabilities
  • 150 hours per month (averages 37.5 hrs per week)
  • Relocation package on offer
  • 35 days holiday - rising to 41 days
  • Excellent salary
  • Accommodation available onsite at a heavily subsidised rate
  • Free of charge for 2 months then approx £450 per month for up to 1 year

Minimum of five years clinical experience post basic qualification
Minimum clinical experience of two years working in Dysphagia and/ or tracheostomy care.

Neuro rehabilitation; adults or paediatric
Children or adults with complex medical needs.
Competent and experienced in managing Children and/or adults with dysphagia
Competent and experienced in managing Children and/or adults.
Worked with children and families - Desirable.
Assessment of speech, language, communication, and ability to devise and carry out intervention plans - Essential.
Assessment of dysphagia and ability to devise and manage relevant eating and drinking plans - Essential.
