Job Title - Bank Support Worker - Offender Services

Location - Broomfield Place, Coventry CV5 6GY

Hourly rate - 11.12 ph

About the role,

This role requires some understanding of offending and challenging behaviour. The role requires partnership working with other agencies to reduce re offending, while supporting client to learn the skills to live independently. Have a good understanding of Drug and Alcohol addiction and the impact they have on client`s mental health. The applicant should be IT literate, working between the hours of 8am and 8pm between Monday to Friday. There is a requirement to cover the out of hours services between 8pm and 8am Monday toFriday and 24 hours on a Saturday and Sunday , this is on a rota basis and paid in addition to agreed salary. The role is varied and includes housing management, and financial responsibilities, in regards to collecting client`s rents.

We are a small team; we support 33 clients over four hostels based in Coventry. Due to the nature and support needs of the clients, no two days are the same, being flexible and open minded none judgmental are key to the role.

About the Service

Coventry Ex-Offenders Service provides a short term service to enable clients to eventually live independently and sustain their tenancy in their own permanent accommodation. At the same time, clients are given the opportunity to look at their life style and make positive choices for change. The service will provide high quality support which is safe, flexible, and adaptable and which promotes / develops the capacity to live independently and maintain a tenancy within the community
