A highly successful business working in an interesting sector, based in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Working in a team of 8, you will play a key role with clear development. The role will be suited to someone who is keen to learn on the job and a proactive individual who is confident in taking initiative and responsibility in their role as they will be heading up the payments function.

Your new role

* Daily: end to end processing of all payments including from various currencies, banks and countries

* Daily: completing reconciliations for all payments on Xero

* Daily: corresponding with suppliers, logging, paying and responding to all payment requests

* Daily: working with accountants on daily bookkeeping and cash reconciliations for any payment detail queries

* Other ad hoc office tasks

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a finance position, either Banking, Purchase Ledger or Credit Control
  • Attention to detail and being able to show initiative
  • Team player is a must
  • Excellent system knowledge including Excel
