About the role:

As our Banking Relationship Manager, your main responsibility will be to establish and enhance strategic partnerships with banks and electronic money institutions (EMIs) globally. This role is crucial in expanding our global treasury presence. Your outstanding networking skills and in-depth understanding of financial markets and products will be essential for success in this position. This position requires individuals who can navigate complex financial landscapes and strengthen our market presence. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify, approach, and engage with key banking institutions to form collaborative partnerships that align with our global treasury expansion goals.
  • Lead negotiations with existing and potential partner banks, establishing favorable terms and agreements.
  • Assess and mitigate risks with partner banks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations alongside internal teams.
  • Conduct thorough research on banking systems, financial products, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Group Treasurer and CFO to analyze banking partnership performance, providing progress updates and recommending improvements.
  • Lead projects to onboard new banks and maintain current relationships.
  • Work with partner banks to design and maintain efficient global cash management structures for real-time liquidity and risk minimization.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Expectations & Requirements:

  • Over 8 years of experience in a similar role within banking, fintech, financial services, or MNCs.
  • Exceptional networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of banks, EMIs, payment service providers (PSPs), and other financial institutions.
  • Deep understanding of financial products, banking operations, and global financial markets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the financial services industry.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working in a startup or change-driven culture.
  • Established network of contacts within the global banking sector.
