We have an exclusive opportunity for a Banking & Finance Lawyer to join an elite global law firm in Manchester. The firm has an unrivalled reputation advising a broad range of lenders and borrowers on a variety of challenging financing transactions which include general corporate lending, asset-based lending, real estate finance, acquisition finance and more. Their banking & finance team have a deep insight and appreciation of the needs of their high-profile clients in the financial services, and they consistently deliver high-quality legal services on a national and international level with a deep knowledge of current market practice.

ROLE

• You will handle an interesting range of work and will be expected to advise a broad range of lenders and borrowers on a wide variety of lending and finance transactions including acquisition finance, asset-based lending, general corporate lending, project finance, real estate finance and structured finance.
• Your client portfolio will include an exceptionally large range of clients.
• You will be expected to take an active role in business development within both your team and the wider firm.

REQUIREMENTS

• England & Wales qualified lawyer.
• 2+ years PQE.
• Must have a solid understanding of banking & finance law.
• Demonstrate exceptional technical knowledge.
• Must be able to demonstrate a real ambition and drive to progress within the team.
• Demonstrate astute commerciality and a can-do attitude throughout your work and the firm’s business development.
