Location: Bigbury-on-Sea

Salary: £28,554 per annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Bar Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Bar Supervisor:

  • To be constantly vigilant in respect of H+S issues and report risks
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene and Health & Safety.
  • Organising cleaning rotas and records for bar and back of house areas.
  • Ensure all emergency procedures are viable and communicated.
  • To be constantly vigilant of security risks and immediately report any suspicious incidents
  • Checking stock levels and communicating to Restaurant Manager for ordering purposes
  • Helping in any area of the bar/restaurant when circumstances dictate.
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Ensure that guest experience in the bar is smooth, seamless and appropriate
  • Ensure bar is well-stocked with beer, wine, liquor, and related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws.

Skills and Qualifications for the Bar Supervisor:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Be punctual, hard working and flexible.
  • Be a good team player and have excellent communication skills.
  • Adhere to all health and safety legislation.
