BD & Marketing Assistant

I am working with a prestigious law firm with a strong reputation for excellence on their search for a dynamic and results-driven BD & Marketing Assistant to join their team and help shape the firms brand, reputation, and business growth.

As a BD & Marketing Assistant, you will support the BD & Marketing Director in various tasks and projects. You will work closely with the firms' wider teams to develop and implement business plans, ensuring a strong commercial focus on all marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital and Brand: Manage the firm's online presence, including website updates, email marketing campaigns, and social media accounts.
  • Communications: Collaborate with lawyers to create compelling content, proof-read articles, and support press releases and newsletters.
  • Business Development: Organize and manage events, conduct competitor research, and support partners in identifying opportunities.
  • Marketing Collateral: Assist in sourcing and managing marketing materials and merchandise.
  • Campaigns and Reporting: Manage campaigns, monitor social media effectiveness, and support the maintenance of an opportunity/pitch tracker.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills
  • Experience in a busy Marketing/BD team (minimum one year)
  • Strong academics, preferably a marketing/comms/journalism degree or CIM qualified
