Beauty Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for a Beauty Technician to join the team on a part time, term time, permanent basis. In return,you will receive a competitive rate of £23,014 pro rata.

We are a high-achieving college who attract around 2,800 sixth form students across the region each year. We are based within the stunning New Forest National Park and offer our students a huge range of courses and superb facilities.

About the role:

As the Beauty Technician, you will undertake a range of duties in support of the academic and operational function in New Milton.

Responsibilities as our Beauty Technician will include:

• Completing daily laundry cycle
• Getting salons ready with equipment and products for the day’s lessons
• Tidying up of salons at the end of the day
• Ordering of stock when needed
• Stocktaking salon products at the end of year
• Running the Ultima Academy open salon (taking bookings payments and keeping records of clients.)
• Assisting with end of year salon clean
• Registering of courses and students with City and Guilds

As our Beauty Technician, you’llideally have:

• Good level of literacy and numeracy required
• Previous experience in this type of role
• Knowledge and experience of systems used in a Beauty Salon
• IT literate
• Ability to communicate with students and staff effectively
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• You enjoy helping learners meet their learning goals
