We are seeking a dedicated Beauty Therapy Lecturer to join our dynamic team within the School of Business, Sport, Hair and Beauty. The successful candidate will be teaching across a range of programmes, including City and Guilds Levels 2 and 3, as well as commercial courses. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for beauty therapy and a desire to inspire the next generation of beauty professionals.

  • Part-Time 21.6 hours per week
  • Location: Middlesex
  • Salary: £18,814 to £26,237

Day to Day of the role of the Business Therapy Lecturer:

  • Deliver teaching sessions on full-time Beauty City & Guilds levels 2 and 3 courses.
  • Conduct commercial courses, including Beauty Therapy short courses, evening courses, and Hair Reduction and Skin Rejuvenation using Laser systems.
  • Engage with students to facilitate learning and help them achieve their potential.
  • Prepare lesson plans, materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the beauty industry and incorporate this into teaching practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to students on their educational journey.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the role of a Beauty Therapy Lecturer:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy.
  • Advanced level teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector (PGCE, DET or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this, with support from the College.
  • Qualified assessor with A1 award TAQA CAVA ect
  • Experience or qualifications in Laser treatment are desirable.
  • Ability to teach Level 2 and/or Level 3 Technical qualifications is preferred.
