We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a thriving school community in Edgware. This Secondary School boasts a "Good" Ofsted rating, a committed team, and is highly regarded within the local area.

The School

Our school is conveniently situated on a regular bus route and is approximately 15 minutes by bus from the nearest underground station. Limited on-road parking is also available, making your commute hassle-free.

The Role

We are seeking a full-time Behaviour Mentor to support students across various year groups. The Headteacher is looking for someone who can provide tailored support to students with behavioural needs (EBD), helping them navigate and manage challenging situations within the school environment. Your role will be pivotal in helping students develop the skills necessary to self-manage their behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with behavioural needs across different year groups.
  • Implement strategies to help students manage and improve their behaviour.
  • Work closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment.
  • Utilise your excellent Maths skills to support students academically.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural needs.
  • A calm, firm but fair approach to managing student behaviour.
  • Ability to provide positive strategies for behaviour management.
  • Strong Maths skills are highly desirable.
