About the role - Behaviour Mentor

I am working with a SEN school based in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a behaviour mentor to join them as soon as possible. The successful behaviour mentor will be responsible for delivering 1:1, paired and small group with students with challenging behaviour. The school are looking for an individual who can maintain a physically safe environment whilst following risk assessments as appropriate. The focus for the successful behaviour mentor will be to act as a positive role model for the students across the entire school.

About the school - Behaviour Mentor

This SEN school caters for young people aged between 9-16 who have social, emotional, and mental health needs and an education, health and care plan. The school caters for 100 students an many of these have had disruption in their life from an early age and therefore require additional support and a specialist setting in order to meet their educational needs.
