Job Title: Behaviour MentorLocation: Kensington and Chelsea, LondonStart Date: September 2024

Salary: £85-£100 (based on experience)

GSL Education London are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to one of its client schools in Kensington and Chelsea. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Support students with behavioural difficulties, helping them to engage positively with their learning.
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to create and maintain a positive school environment.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the school.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
Desirable:
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs or behavioural challenges.
