Timeplan Education is seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to join an alternative education provision in Camden. We are looking for individuals with experience in coaching, mentoring, and classroom support. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing dysregulated behaviour, Autism, and mental health difficulties, and able to demonstrate a calm and engaging approach. Many students also have additional SEND needs, such as ASD, ADHD, and SpLD.

While experience in working with children or adults in an educational setting is preferred, a willingness to learn new coaching skills to improve behaviour and development is essential. All positions will initially be agency-based on a timesheet basis.

We are particularly interested in applicants with backgrounds in care, social work, mental health, or mentoring.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support children with SEMH and SEND
  • Remain calm and de-escalate distressed behaviour
  • Possess a valid Enhanced DBS registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new check
  • Be available 5 days a week for a minimum of 3 months
