Are you a behaviour support assistant with experience of working with challenging children? If you are a behaviour specialist, or have strengths being a support worker for teenagers then this is the role for you!

From September, a Halifax Secondary school is looking for a behaviour support assistant to join their busy pastoral team.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting with young people with challenging behaviour
  • Supervision as well lesson support
  • Following the school's behaviour policy
  • Being adaptable to chenges in situations and supporting other team members with young people in distress

As a behaviour support worker you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupils, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with your time.
