The Opportunity

The BI Analyst Developer primarily supports the BI function to maintain & create reporting solutions for all areas of the business. One of these key areas will be supporting the Marketing Team in delivering direct mail campaigns through the provision of appropriate customer mailing lists. This role provides the link between raw data from various sources to insightful & actionable analyses, reports & dashboards for other teams, that drive key business decisions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating and maintain Visual studio Packages (SSIS)
  • Building Tabular Models/Datasets for super users to build reports.
  • Extracting Data from multiple sources for reporting purposes and translating this data into meaningful reports and insights.
  • Develop Reports and Dashboards using Power BI with performance and maintainability in mind.
  • Deliver insights and continue to grow a self-serve capability across our business
  • Influencing and promoting the use of Business Intelligence tools, supporting colleagues, and developing a culture around data usage for better decision making.
  • Automate PowerBI and SSRS reports.

Experience needed

  • Create and maintain new and existing SSIS packages and SSAS models in Visual studio,
  • Ability to manipulate datasets
  • Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • Report building and Data Visualization in PowerBI
  • Ability to combine numerous data sources and make recommendations
  • Working across multiple teams and projects.
  • Have a willingness to challenge the status quo to deliver insightful findings
  • Understanding of data warehouse structure.
  • Possess a critical thinking style, with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill with a focus on customer service
