Job Title: BI Developer

Location: Southport (Hybrid)

Salary: £40,000 DOE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Developer to join a dynamic team. As a BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the business intelligence solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable BI solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data integration.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to business users.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor and tune the performance of BI solutions to optimize query response times and system efficiency.

Skills:

• Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL programming and expertise in working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
