Fawkes and Reece are recruiting for a Bid Coordinator to work for a main contractor. They work in collaboration with private clients to deliver large infrastructure projects worth over £200m and are looking to tenders for some of the UK's most prestigious infrastructure projects. Recent projects have included major highway re-developments, crossrail tunnelling and major station upgrades for private clients such as Network Rail & TFL.

In this role you will be reporting to Head of Preconstruction whilst working with a preconstruction team that includes Bid Managers & Bid Writers. Some of the duties that you would be involved in will include:

  • Managing PQQs

  • Ensuring compliance with the work winning processes to manage submissions and bid-related information

  • Support briefings and progress meetings keeping auditable records of actions agreed

  • Initiating/produce non-technical written responses for submissions

  • Supporting contributors with content development and responses

  • Managing inputs from contributors whilst ensuring that they are aware of deadlines and chasing where necessary

  • Maintaining, organising and collating documents and supporting information

The ideal candidate will:

Have coordinated on construction tenders

Experience working tendering teams that works on both on projects and frameworks

Have an understanding of the bid process

Must have the right to live and work in the UK
