Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Bid Manager to join the team.
Location: UK Wide – Hybrid working
Salary: £50K + Competitive package
Job Type/Hours: Full Time, Permanent
About The Company:
Our client is leading multi-disciplinary engineering organisation that provides a range of services from engineering design and assessment, surveying and monitoring, and expert reviews. They primarily operate within the civil engineering and construction space for a range of clients from small local business to leading large household names.
Following recent investment and the appointment of a new senior leadership team our client aims to more than double the size of the business over the next 5 years. As such, they are looking to bring on board a Bid Manager in what is a new role for the business.
Bid Manager – The Role:
This is a new role for the business and will be responsible for securing new business through the development, management and submission of proposals and tenders for their largest projects. It will put in place a best practice approach, covering everything from the internal processes and systems relating to the generation of the bids, through to managing the submissions and compliance.
Bid Manager – Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end to end proposal/tender process, ensuing all submission are compliant and submitted in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the wider Business Development and Marketing team to develop and refine proposal strategies
- Produce compelling and thorough proposal documents, consistent with the organisations value and commitment to quality
- Keep the CRM system up to date with relevant information including contacts and new potential opportunities
Bid Manager – You:
-Knowledge of the civil engineering sector and associated engineering services
- Proven track record of developing and managing proposals and tenders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
