Bid Writer

Location: Reading, hybrid: 2 days per week in office, 3 days from home.

Are you ready to maximise all opportunities to win bids and tenders? We are looking for a dedicated Bid Writer to oversee the entire external tender process for both new and existing business.

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure Northgate Vehicle Hire is always in the best position to win tenders. You will also collaborate with our Sales team to evaluate the viability of opportunities and ensure all feedback is meticulously updated in our CRM.

You’ll also be managing a Bids and Proposals Executive, setting clear and measurable objectives, and aligning personal development plans with key objectives. If you're passionate about driving success and securing bids, we want to hear from you!

Salary - £45,000per annum based on experience, enhanced by a £4,400 car allowance (or a company car)!

About You

• First and foremost you will have similar bid writing experience and possess a good commercial acumen
• You will have excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and strive on working under pressure
• Able to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
